ISG has withdrawn as main construction partner on the £41m York Community Stadium and Leisure Complex scheme according to a report in Construction Enquirer.
A spokeswomen for the City of York Council said:
We are continuing to work with our longstanding partners including the consortium lead and leisure operator GLL to build the best leisure, sport and health offer for the city.
We have been clear to the consortium for some time that any further costs on the project can only be accepted once demonstrated that it provides best value in the current market place.

Moor Lane to EFL League 2 standard
More information is coming out about the Moor Lane development. The existing stadium currently has capacity for 2,163 fans, but this will more than double to 5,108 (2,241seats) to comply with standards for EFL League 2, which the club is intent on reaching.
