The event is the first of two focusing on the life and times of an athlete in the modern age. The first will focus on the early stages of a players career, from obscurity to earning thousands at a young age. Today’s players and athletes are well compensated for their talent but are they being given the right advice? This event takes an in-depth look at what goes on behind the scenes in the life of a sports star.
Topics include what legal guidance is being given to our nations young talent, alongside what general advice and support is available for the future talent of the UK.
The session will be chaired by Steve Hanley, former winger and player of the year for Sale Sharks, who now heads up their Business Development team and will feature insight from:
