Job description and further information
This is a great time to be joining Cultural Services at Warwick District Council. We are developing a number of new projects and this is a great chance to get involved in one of the most interesting ones.
Warwick District Council is looking for a knowledgeable and effective person to join its Programme Team within Cultural Services to lead delivery of the project for a community football stadium on land to the north of Gallows Hill.
You will work with the Programme Manager to design and manage the successful delivery of this project within a specified time period and to an agreed budget, liaising with Leamington Football Club and other internal and external stakeholders to ensure milestones are met and outcomes achieved.
You will have relevant experience within either a planning, economic development, land management, regeneration or project management environment. You will have either led or taken a client role in large scale programmes of work, feasibility assessments or major delivery projects. You will therefore have an understanding of project management techniques and processes. You will play a key role in helping to make Warwick District a great place to live, work and visit.
Using your excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills you will build effective relationships with colleagues, contractors, consultants, stakeholders and the community to take forward this exciting opportunity to really make a difference.
