AFC Bournemouth chief executive Neill Blake has reiterated the club’s desire to build a new stadium within Kings Park.
The statement came as the Cherries applied to Bournemouth Borough Council for a new planning approval for the South Stand to remain in place at the current Dean Court ground.
The temporary south stand was initially built in 2013 following promotion from the third tier of English football, with a two year life span.
Wallyford greyhound stadium has become more likely after East Lothian Council approved planning permission for an enabling residential development.
Edinburgh businessman Howard Wallace and his firm Sirius Sport and Leisure Ltd are developing the stadium, which has planning permission.
