Hi Sandy,

We use facebook and twitter at a number of our Venues attracting a growing following (still early days though). Always interested in looking at how to get the best out it - Of particular interest currently is how to best monitor the effectiveness of what we're doing on social media I.e. how many new or additional visits are directly attributable to facebook, twitter etc

Many thanks

Hi Sandy,

One of my Venues (White Water Centre) in Broxbourne will be hosting the Torch - not sure on date but it is after we hand the Venue over to LOCOG for games time. Whilst it is still be finalised it looks like we will be handing over the Venue on May 8th. Our Management team at the Venue are being seconded to LOCOG for the Games period and so will be involved in organising the event on the day. As you have probably guessed I haven't got an abundance of detail on this as this will happen under LOCOGs tenure of the venue

Many thanks

Hi Sandy

We use social media a lot for our theatre business not so much yet for conferences and events. Our marketing team have been on social media courses already but we are always intersted in anything that is on offer.

Best wishes
Sarah

I realise we are little further North than is desired but we would be very interested in talking to the Booker for this event.

Sandy
Lets have a constructive talk on bulk purchase oppertunities. I realise its not for all members but I would be interested in buying fertilizer and grass seed. Ive already been in touch with peter but the more people interested the better buying power.

Guys, If you want Sandy to approach on behalf of you plus the other members - let us have an idea of quantity, what you pay and from whom and we'll go to them and offer bulk to them?

Hi Sandy
This might be of interest, as Eddie says it would depend on who the suppliers were. One day would be long enough!
