UKVMA HAS RECENTLY LAUNCHED NEW ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS FOR UK VENUE MANAGERS
A series of academic courses, which can lead to an honours degree, has been developed for the UK’s venue industry – the first time the industry has had a recognised, dedicated qualification.
“The launch of the Bucks New University courses means that we are now able to offer specialist qualifications for people into this industry and that has not happened before. I came through a very different route into this industry and have had to learn a lot in different roles.”
Jan Kozlowski, Bolton Wanderers Football Club

“I have been very pleasantly surprised by the attendance and they have been very interesting and informative presentations. For me, the Populous presentation was fascinating – it gave us a vision of the future. The new academic qualifications are an important step for the industry … and, of course, it was very nice to have a free drink at the end”
Phil Atkinson, Leicestershire County Cricket Club“It has been a great event for me and the opportunity to meet people in one room without having to knock on doors all over the country, and for these people here to be really interested in what we are offering. Today has been very good for my business.”
Robina Latham, Liquor Lizard
